| Impact |
- Improvement to the design of laboratory layout was made having considered the expectation on the storage spaces, lavatory facilities and security of staff of different genders.
- Taking into consideration of the ratio of female and male staff, sufficient toilets were provided for both female and male staff. Furthermore, lockers were provided in toilets for all female staff.

The Government Laboratory has consulted staff concerned, both male and female, on its laboratory re-location exercise. The views gathered from staff had helped improve the design of laboratory layout to meet the needs of female and male staff. |
