We Care We Serve

The team of the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) is always upholding the spirit of “We Care We Serve”. We work whole-heartedly to serve our community, and strive to do our best in major policy areas like district and community development, youth development, women and family-related matters, and ethnic minorities supports, etc. Through this online platform, we hope the public can have a better understanding of the rationale behind HYAB's policy vision and get promptly informed of our latest updates.

In the coming year, HYAB will have its efforts focused on the theme “Family Harmony brings Prosperity for All”. While “Family” relates to “family development”, “Harmony” relates to “harmonious community development”. As regards “Prosperity”, it relates to “thriving youth”. When our families, community and youth all thrive in harmony, prosperity for all is beyond doubt. Our efforts to achieve these three-pronged objectives would be futile without support by and collaboration with all sectors of the society. We hope that the community will continue to offer their support and make a concerted effort for building a thriving and harmonious Hong Kong.
